Not my WILL – Let it be your WILL LORD

Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ,

May the peace of the lord be with you and your family.

I would like start with my favourite verse from Jeremiah which reads as follows
“Jeremiah 29:11 The lord promises his plans for us,for each one of us and yes, they are the plans that the heavenly Father has planned .Moreover the plans are not normal plan, they are plans to prosper us and not to harm.”

Jesus Christ who is con-substantial with the Father wants us to trust in his plans rather than our own plans.Yes ,its true that we make a plenty of plans ,However ,you believe it or not ,only the Lord’s plans will come to pass in our life.Because we are his children and only the creator has control on our lives.

We as less faithful and due to our shaking faith,we tend to feel worried, anxious and we become reluctant to accept the plans of the lord. That is ,when things go not as we expected ,we feel anxious and worked out.But the lord gives his promise in Joshua as “Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Accept the lord and know that he is with you all time and he will be always with you!
In Mathew chapter 6, he urges us to seek his kingdom so that things will be given to us out of his bounty.Because there is nothing greater than his kingdom,The house of the heavenly father, our creator.“Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Now few of you may question me asking “how do I accept and allow his plans in my life?”.Yes,here is the key.In proverbs 3:5-6 he gives us the guidance. That is by only trusting in the lord with all you heart and by not leaning on your own wisdom. “Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

I understand that it not easy as reading the verse, however you got to trust in him because the truth is that  nothing comes to pass without his knowledge ,for only he does the things.

Now comes the question of knowing about WILL OF THE LORD or his plans for us in our life. That is to obtain the wisdom that is needed to obey his will.In James 1:5 he gives us the key for it. “James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

Dear brothers and sister,If the heavenly father could give his only one son for us ,for our salvation,if we ask for anything in his name, how much more he can give to us??Yes he will grant our wishes and plans if it is good for our life and good for our soul.

In Mathew 6:10 we read “your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven“.Let us make sincere efforts to trust the lord and surrender our plans in the hands of the lord so that he guides us for the good ,because ONLY HIS PLANS WILL COME TO PASS.

As I wrap this write-up ,want to close it with this verse. “Psalm 143:10 Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.”

‡‡‡Prayer‡‡‡
Lord,I acknowledge you with all of my heart ,only you can bring salvation.Forgive my sins and pour out your mercy on me ,guide my ways ,filter my plans for doing good and only for your glory.Lord with the little faith that I have,I wish to surrender my plans into your hands.”LET YOUR WILL BE DONE ON ME”

LET THE FEAR GO – GOD PROTECTS HIS CHILDREN

Dear Sisters and brothers in Jesus Christ,

Peace of the Lord be with you all.

We all feel worried or frightened in our life at some point perhaps not every day for few of us but few fear constantly.Few things in our life are certain and few are uncertain. It is not that the things that are certain doesn’t make us fear or things that are uncertain make us fear.Bottom line irrespective of the type of things we all feel worried. This being said,I urge to you all to remember the promise of the Lord in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that he does not put us in a situation which is beyond our ability to overcome and he also shows the way to overcome, heed to his teachings.
“1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”

We perhaps feel fear even though while we are on the truth and on the right path. The reason being publicly put down, trapped by cheating, fit into ones notorious plan and any another act from the enemy or authority ,raises the fear and pull us down and we stop doing the good work because we feel the fear. But the Lord promises in Isaiah 41:13 that he will always help us by holding our right hand.Trust in his promises because he is God the father who keeps his words and his words will not be made false.
“Isaiah 41:13 For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”

Further be known that its not permanent that our fear invades us and keeps us haunting, but will get deliverance when the time comes because the Lord is merciful and we will see his deliverance.
“Exodus 14:13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.”

Our fear in life is often related other people ,enemy, authorities etc.But the Lord asks us not to be fearful but be strong and courageous in Deuteronomy 31:6.He says no matter who it is or what it is,God is with you and he will never ever leave you.
“Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Apparently we don’t know the type of spirit that God gave us.Yes its true.Because God does not give the spirit of fear but he gives the spirit of power and love as he tell in 2 Timothy 1:7.
“2 Timothy 1:7 For God gave us not a spirit of fearfulness; but of power and love and discipline.”

Knowing that the Lord doesn’t give us the spirit of fear, let us be confident of that fact and contemplate on Hebrews 13:6 saying ‘I will not be afraid’.
“Hebrews 13:6 So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can Man do to me?”

However in all our ways or things that we undertake we must put God first rather than trying to overcome things by our own knowledge but allowing Lord to take control
“Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding”

In times of fear we feel more anxious and go peace less. It is obvious to be so.However remind yourself the promises of the Lord in Philippians 4:6-7 to overcome anxiety and John 14:27 to attain peace of the lord.
“Philippians 4:6-7 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
“John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ,I acknowledge that I feel fear many times and I sin.Help me to be fearless so that I remain peaceful and patiently wait for your mercy. When I feel fear I want you to comfort me Lord, fill me with the much needed courage to stand firm for the uplifting of the truth.Help me to encourage people who feel fear for various reason in their life so that they feel your peace in their life.

LET GO PAST – ATTAIN PEACE OF THE LORD

Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ,

Peace of the Lord be with you!

I am here today with an attempt to help who are struggling to let go of their past.If you happened to come here, you are chosen one even if you don’t have the past that’s hurting you, holding you back, reading this may enable you to share it with the one who is in need.

Bible has plethora of promises which are given for us from our father in heaven.Rather than looking for the way out in other mere articles, let us put trust in our Lord’s words because his words are powerful and serves the purpose of our life.
Isaiah 55:11 “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

First and foremost we need to understand and accept the fact that bad things, hurt, relationship problem, disturbance and cheating is bound to happen in our lives. But be assured of the lord’s promise in
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”.
The lord our savior promises to us in the above verse that he knows the plans that he has for us, and remember that they are not coming from any man but the God the father, none other than our creator. As you believe that he has created you and given you life, contemplate on his promise in the above verse and tell yourself that “Yes ,my lord knows me and my need,I will let go my past and strive to attain his peace”

Further ,I am not saying it will be easy for you to let things go. Nevertheless ,I want to ask you to seek the mercy of the lord to help you with it in the process of you trying to let go things.Be confident of receiving them.

Hebrews 4:16 “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”.
Plead to the father of mercies for pouring his mercies because he unconditionally pours his mercy.
Mathew 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”.Believe that you have received it as he states in Mark 11:24 “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”.

Dont keep yourself away from asking the Lord for his help.In Mathew 11 chapter he says to us that he will give us rest and we need to go to him ,he calls us.
Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light”.

Letting go things that bother you is not easy.It is perhaps easy if we realize that the past wont change but we can change with the help of the Lord.So stop looking at the past and thinking about, rather look forward.
Philippians 3:13-14 “Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus”.Continuously strive to keep away from going back or past because it leads you nowhere.

With this being said,we must know that letting go also needs us to be kind and forgiver.Forgive the person who hurt has hurt you,who is the cause of your worry or problems or who is reason for your current struggle.
Ephesians 4 :31-32 “31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you”.

Pray for the person who you think is the cause for your current state. I tell you ,initial days perhaps not easy as you think ,but allow God to take control of you and see the peace of the Lord flowing with in you as the days pass by.

We must also know that perhaps we have contributed to our current state or struggle. So stop blaming others. We also need to repent for what we have done.
1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness”.If there is nothing that you have contributed for your struggle ,praise the lord because he has not allowed you to do so!

As you wait for the mercy of the Lord, keep yourself in prayer and seek him presence in your life every moment and put God first in all that you do. God bless you!
Jude 1:21 “keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life”.

Prayer:
Lord,I come to you with my heavy heart full of sadness.I acknowledge that you are my savior, with my shaking faith.Forgive me for my sins.Look to me with your gracious and merciful eyes.As I try to let go my past, help me by sending your wisdom to accept that you do it all for good.I seek your presence in my life every moment Lord.Grab me Lord.Change my heart and make me peaceful so that I spend time in praising you,LORD MY SAVIOR.
